Amen, Brother! It’s finally spring here at my humble abode in Paducah, Ky. I have a mess of a ‘gray water’ system in the back yard and a base for an urban teepee with an imaginary cryogenics lab underneith (for keep my beer cold.) Yeah I’m a hypocrite but i drink in moderation in the fear of the Lord, from which I have received so much comfort. I’m a fornicater too with a lovely gf and my lead guitarist, drummer, his wife and 2-year-old live here, too. The home is being converted into a full-blown media center which y’all should be able to tune into in a couple of weeks. (..and the creeks don’t rise.)

We play a new genre of music we call ‘metabilly’ which combines Linux humor with christian slang and bird talk about weeds and bugs and things. As Kentuckians, we are proud boasters with a lot to sing about, especially since Jesus has come in to live with us here at the Paducah Homestead Experiment 2807. Here at Fairmont Farm and Studio, we work on a crawdad – sugar beet symbiotic testbed. We have a neighborly connection with the United States Department of Agriculture and a plan for local domain stewardship of the Island Creek Watershed Commission.

I appreciate the comments on the Monsanto issue, one of our projects here at the collective is the dissemination of information about large Agri-Business’ and Monsanto is at the top of this list followed closely by ADM. We are adamantly opposed to GMO’s of any type be they food products, animal products or biological products. We feel that from a spiritual point of view they are at the very best a heresy in the eyes of any spiritual or religious tradition or pathway.

The fact that Empirical Science has within the last year directly linked Monsanto’s GMO corn products to major organ and system failure and they are currently being approved by the FDA of the U.S. for the introduction of a number of other seed products that are essentially modified in the same manner is quite alarming to us all and should be a red flag when it comes to our faith in our systemic regulatory agencies and their true allegiances. I believe it was Bob Dylan that once said “Money doesn’t talk, it Swears……”

We will endeavor to stay on top of these issues and to spread this information as far and as wide as we can, The cost in human lives and the despair left behind the suicides in the Himalaya region is only the beginning, As long as Multi-National Corporations are allowed to do their research in what are essentially unregulated areas of the world we are all threatened and it is imperative that this not be tolerated.

We welcome any news that you, or any of our network, comes across being forwarded to us and we will see to it that it get’s the exposure that it deserves. The press in the U.S. has been decidedly quiet about these issues so it is up to us, the souls that share this beautiful blue planet to protect each other from these attacks on our sovereignty as the stewards of our gift.
