| One of the events I organise already is, I think, relevant to this subject. On the first Saturday of each month (except for Dec and Jan when we have a break) we have a social evening in our home. Everyone brings a plate and drinks to share and, following the meal, we have our speaker. It is farily informal, speakers usually take half an hour to talk on their subject which is followed by question…then dessert! I usually organise the speakers and we have some diverse and interesting subjects. A recent speaker was Chester Porter QC, an eminent Australian. Michelle Cavanagh about 1 month ago

| Susmita, That is very interesting. I look forward to hearing more. Might you join the Charter for Compassion Network so others will more likely see your report(s)? Wade Hudson about 1 month ago

| Wade, thanks for the invite. I just joined here. The last line of the charter calls for enlightened economy and culture of peace based on compassion and interdependence, very much aligned with my buddhist enaged path & practice. I will be out of the country for two months, so it will be a while. Susmita Barua about 1 month ago
