About
I am an Associate Professor at the University of San Francisco in the areas of Sociology and Environmental Studies. My main research area is the mobilization of people around suspected links between chemical contamination and health. This work has ranged from movements in the U.S. around breast cancer and asthma, to the struggle in Bhopal, India against Union Carbide/Dow, to the global struggle against toxics.
