Zahana

I have just signed up for wiserearth in the hope of find people who are interested in our participatory rural development approach in Madagascar.

Zahana is (still) a very small organization with big dreams. All of our work is currently done by volunteers. Some of us live in Hawaii, but most are Malagasy living and working in their country.

We have started a pilot project in the remote village of Fiadanana on the high plateau of Madagascar.

Our project is funded only by private donations from our circle of friends and their friends, who with their financial support make this work possible. Through fora like wieserearth we hope to reach a larger audience that might be interested in participatory development.
