I am currently assigned as the Executive Director and President of the Board for Foundation for Self-Reliance (FSR) in San Francisco Bay Area, I have been working for this foundation since 2004 , while I was in Pakistan and Afghanistan, I have also worked with different Non Governmental organizations in Kabul Afghanistan, and Islamabad Pakistan, most of my activites have been toward the youth and the widows of war, today that I am in San Francisco Bay Area it's also part of my tasks to work for the Afghan Youth community in this region, we are currently a group of Afghan youth focusing to educating, empowering and supporting Afghan youth in the San Francisco Bay Area and Afghanistan, we are also committed to developing projects that promote economic independence and self-reliance for Afghan war refugees. FSR is working toward creating social change and uniting the youth through community-based programs and services such as the Afghan Youth Project and the Afghan Freedom Quilt. Dedicated to building a strong foundation for the future of the youth, the organization's ultimate goal is to establish a community facility that promotes the individual and social development of the Afghan youth community.
