About

As a professional landscape designer and consultant, I specialize in using both CA native plants and perennial edibles in urban landscapes so that beauty, productivity, low water usage, and relatively low/easy maintenance are by-products of good design. I also restore healthy ecological function to soils, which in turn helps health of the plants. In essence, I practice a kind of ecological homeopathy, using the tools of nature to heal nature. My company is called Fruits to Nuts, http//www.fruits2nuts.com. (When anyone asks me what I kind of landscaping I do, I then explain that I cover everything from fruits to nuts.)

Hi Wendy, just joined this site and found you - sounds like you are doing about the same as I am. I am a landscape contractor, aspiring permy, soil biology advicate. My company is in Ojai, .ca. We are Green Goddess GArdens - greengoddessojai.com

Its always nice to connect with other women who have the same passion. I just got back from a seminar up in Esalen and met Benjamin - he introduced me to this site. He is one of the guys on the opening page.

Have you done any exciting projects you want to share about?

Hope work is still flowing for you. Thank god for maintenance.

Thanks for your time...

Jessica
