I am a grade five teacher at Summitview School in Grande Cache, Alberta.  I facilitate a World Peace Club for grade 4-8 students.  Our club looks at raising awareness and understanding of world peace, and taking action towards achieveing world peace.

One of our current projects is called "Think Peace".  We are trying to organize a global minute of silence and hope for world peace.  We are asking people all over the world to join us during  the first minute of each equinox in a minute of silence to contemplate or send hope for world peace.  For example "May Peace Prevail on Earth". 

This fall's "Think Peace" is on Sunday, September 23, at 3:51 a.m.  M.D.T.  We ask participants to register their number of people who joined us at svpeaceclub@gyrd.ab.ca.  You can check our webpage at www.sv.gyrd.ab.ca/WPC.
