Ben is an
independent film maker as well as a
professional jugler and a political organizer both for non profits and the green partys of canada, bc and vancouver.
He has been a candidate both provincially and municipally for the work less party and federally for the green party.
Last year Ben released his first feature film,
Alarm Clocks Kill Dreams. It is a documentary about the grassroots guerilla media activism of the work less party. The films debut sold out a local theatre and received positive reviews.
Bens background is in student organizing and
educational issues are still very important to him.
Ben is also very focused on institutional reform and serves on the board of directors of the
aurora insitute.
Ben is inspired by the work of Bill McDonough, Janine Beniyus, Paul Hawken, David Orr, Vandana Shiva, and so many others.
