About
David
has been a student of martial arts for 38 years. He has
been creating Tai Chi Chuan programs
for the English School Foundation of Hong Kong and The
International Schools for students and teachers and holds
adult Tai Chi Chuan classes in the greater Hong Kong area.
He also teaches in various private clubs and sports facilities.
He
actively promotes health and fitness through the study
of Martial Arts in Asia and Europe and The Americas.
Recently he developed Tai Chi programs for Davis, California
for adults and children. His areas of interest are Tai
Chi Chuan, Chi Kung and meditation. He also holds teaching
certification from the Beijing International Wushu Training
Department. He is a radiation therapist certified by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Therapy).
David Schneider was born in New York in 1955. He has pursued martial arts training since he was 15 years old starting with Kempo Karate in New York. He earned a black belt in Okinawan Karate (Uechi-Ryu) style in the late 1970's and then switched to Tai Chi Chuan training in Boston's Chinatown in 1980 and since then David has studied Tai Chi continuously in The United States, Beijing and Hong Kong where he lives with his family.
In 2002, David was certified as a martial arts instructor by Professor Li Shixin of Peking University and approved by the Beijing International Wushu Association to teach kung fu, Qigong and Tai Chi.
David is currently the Director of Health & Fitness Consultancy Intl. Ltd. and Waving Clouds Productions Ltd.
Previously he was founder and director of Waving Clouds Productions Ltd. A Hong Kong based company that represented over 40 of China's top martial artists.
He was also the creator and Marketing Director for Asia Oncology Resources a company who's mission is to build cancer centres in Asia and train Doctors and Allied Health Professionals in China to the highest professional level through the channelling of American Medical Experts and Technology towards Asia.
