About
I am a gardener, and a friend of the deeply-missed late Habib Rose (but no legal relation). He frequently mentioned WiserEarth and I'm finally joining.
After 25 years in Seattle I now live in Mt Vernon, a medium-sized town in an agricultural oasis between Seattle and Vancouver, B.C. My passions include farmland preservation and eco-integrated ag. I'm honored to work as the Director of the Skagit Valley Farm Tour: A Festival of Family Farms (farmtour.com) - an annual harvest celebration honoring farmers' work and the ecosystems supporting all life. I'd be delighted to connect with anyone else working on progressive agri-tourism.
