I have been meaning to update my WE profile for quite some time now, but the sloth in me has deterred any progress in this regard.

Nevertheless, here's a bit about myself.

I graduated with a B. Sc. (honours) in Environmental Science from Kathmandu University in 2005, and have had tried my hands at different things to date. From creating watershed maps for a research project, to researching information for a knowledge portal (http://ekh.unep.org), to tutoring volunteers - GPS usage and water quality monitoring.

Each episode to date has been an equally rewarding experience and has taught me numerous skills. 

I am interested in networking, youth empowerment and youth participation. My interests and fortes include mapping, cartography, GIS and the internet.

Land cover mapping, biodiversity mapping are of particular interests to me, which I hope to take up sometime in my postgraduate education.

On a personal note, I am a dabbler in the writing department and do let my musing flow in a blog.
