About
Trained by Al Gore and his staff and science advisors, I present several
versions of his slide show (the basis for the book and documentary "An
Inconvenient Truth") in the Sacramento area. My
presentation title is "Climate Change - Local Impact". My focus is on
the impact climate change is having on California and what
individuals, communities, businesses, entrepreneurs and city governments are doing to combat climate change. To show the many positive things
that are being done creates hope and inspires the members of the
audience to take part locally to make a difference. This website is dedicated to my audiences. Please visit http://web.mac.com/answerthecall

Hi Doug. Jeff here from Relocalize. Just found this website. I´m wrapping up with teaching here in Santiago and will soon be travelling to Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador to work on community-sustainable farms. Hope all is well and warm in Sacramento. Its is very cold down here...learning a lot about energy savings when indoor heating is virtually inexistent.

Hi Doug,
Where you've been? I love that penguin photo on your profile. Anyway, as a result of book review I did for S. David Freeman, he asked me to do his public relations work, which I just started. He'd like speaking engagements about how to deal with climate change and creating renewable energy on a large scale. He loves speaking to young people where hope remains alive. What groups do you like speaking in front of? He likes universities the best. I hope you're well. I'm getting ready to go to Victoria and Vancouver.
Best wishes, Donna |
