My name is Tisha Rivas. Born in northern California in 1948. I grew up in the countryside of the Silicon Valley. Lived in an alternative, organic farming community in the '70's for 8 years in Santa Barbara CA. Would like to retire in a self-sustaining community in either southern CA or New Mexico or Montana in the next 2 years. Enjoy the benefits of working for myself since 1999 in the alternative health industry. Have just launched an internet marketing service for people who want to work from home...like cottage industry. My granddaughter, Sadie Cheyenne, had 3 strokes at 8 years old from an airborne fungal spore called "Cocci" and typically referred to as "Valley Fever." Our family has become very involved in Fund Raising. We plan to educate parents and purchase equipment and products for those who cannot afford to save their children through standard western medical protocol. We would like to conduct on-going Fund Raisers for other children with incurable and hopeless conditions in order to give them HOPE for a better quality of life.
We have also recently joined: www.loveoutloud.hubhub.org because it seemed in line with our mission and our goals. The more we connect with each other the faster we can enjoy the mirales that our coming together as a human race who truly cares about the conditions that we find ourselves in 2008.
