About

Dr. Davis’ most recent film, Transforming Energy is a documentary about the hope of alternative energy as a solution to global warming and the end of cheap oil. Transforming Energy is the first film that looks at Alternative Energy from the perspective of people working on the ground right now to solve the problems of Global Warming and Peak Oil.  Transforming Energy begins where Inconvenient Truth left off and above all is about solutions.

Transforming Energy has received positive feedback and recognition from universities, grassroots organizations, high schools, PBS stations and festivals across the country.  Students, professionals and activists alike have been inspired, informed and motivated by the messages and insights within Chuck Davis’ film.  Transforming Energy, like all of Chuck’s films, is about spreading awareness and feeding peoples hunger for not only understanding their surroundings but attaining a closer connection to them.
