My aim as a photographer is to deeply connect the individual viewer to
global humanity. "Through my lens, I consciously connect my own human experience with that of the subject of my photography. It has been said that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. I experience this each time I reach out with my camera and reveal a moment in another's life.
We are creating a thirty-minute pictorial poetic essay portraying the universal commonalities that all humans encounter while on this place called earth. The purpose of the photo essay film is to create a baseline catalyst for a discussion forum that unites humans on the most basic common levels. A prototype video has been created with script. Photographic solicitations are asked for from photographers internationally to depict the following commonalities.
The 16 Human Experience Commonalities:
Physical Body
Love
God / Something larger than self
Relationships
Judgment
Forgiveness
Intimacy
Suffering
Pain (Physical)
Fear
Joy
Children
Conflict
Responsibility of ones experience
Death
Purpose
We are also seeking an editor for such a project versed in Premier program or a Macintosh similar video editing program. Also marketing advice, and distribution.
The following is an excerpt from the photo essay, The Human Experience:

The format of the story is done with a question answered. Photographs depict the each commonality of The Human Experience that is questioned.

"And what are these souls that we bare in our body?"
"They are called children. They are the mirror by which you will see your reflection.

"What is this longing to connect with the soul of another being.?"
"It is called intimacy...Intimacy results when two hearts touch each others soul"

Spoken and written script are interchanged througout out the video.
The objective of the videos composition is to be dynamic in the interplay between the music, photography, and the human commonality script.
The impetus for this projects beginnings are what follows:
I do believe we are at a turning point in history. That turning point has a spiritual nature that has manifested itself in the physical world. The physical world presents us with horrors that have been created by human actions and reactions. If we do not reflect within ourselves the oneness of the human experience, we are condemned to continue those horrors upon each other and the environment. We have the potential to heal ourselves through the universal love that all spiritual teachings propose and decent people of no religious affiliation adhere to. The turning point is now and here, where those of us on this planet and its future generations step into a new era of awareness that we truly are one body.
We as humans, we as in all living beings, we as in all of creation, are united beyond the physical realm. A realm that is more common than even the same molecules that make up our physical existence. It is the realm of the spirit that we are united without separation. When each one of us experiences that essence of commonality, a touch of divinity can be felt. I dare say that even an atheist can feel it but just name it differently.
I have found the most profound experience of love; that touch of divinity in the moments that I have opened myself to the larger Self we are all connected to. And in that experience I have come to know the spirit in all things. When the “I” experiences oneness in all things with no sense of otherness and when time does not exist but in the Now. That is the moment that evokes the touch of divinity.
“We are not humans having a spiritual experience, we are spirits having a human experience.”
