(Short Bio Paragraph)

 

Mr. Galarneau is a 2008 Roots of Change Action Fellow and works as an education and research program specialist on social issues for the Center for Agroecology & Sustainable Food Systems (CASFS) focusing on farm to institution, student agrifood programs, higher education, and local food movements.  Mr. Galarneau also serves as an advisory board member with AASHE and serves on the national coordinating team for the Real Food Challenge which is working to shift over $1 billion in annual food procurement and consumption in colleges and universities in the United States by 2020 toward greater sustainability.  From a systems approach to food policy, to elevating the potential for farm to institution within higher education, Mr. Galarneau is a passionate advocate and resource for food based transformation.
