About

I am a photographer and digital artist living and working in Portland Oregon. The visual elements of my  work draw from spontaneous human moments, contemporary urban environments and the ecological relationships of the natural world. My creative process often results from capturing multiple digital files to construct and create a single photograph. The images that emerge depict spontaneous and often provocative portraiture and environments, richly textured urban-scenes, and hyper-realistic natural and extracted landscapes.

“The key elements to my work are emotion, atmosphere and narrative… all of the digital manipulation that is utilized functions to tell the story of the subject and to create an emotional relationship with the viewer. The multiple layers of elements combined with the right amount of hyper realism allow viewers to enter and explore the photographs in greater detail than can be provided by a single frame.”
