Externally, Tarvid is involved in promoting communication through Open Source Software (Drupal, Ubuntu) and sustainability of the homestead.
Internally, tarvid explores the practices which promote caring, sharing and right action. He sometimes spends weeks working through difficult issues by a method he calls Sabbath Work. He loosely classifies himself as a Buddhist Christian who asks the question "Can my Jesus come to your church?"
Tarvid also works in International Health currently focusing on micro economics of health care in "developing" countries.
Somehow he manages to find time to read a few books and play a little music.
He offers hospitality to all but especially friends on the path.
