About
Intentional community is a strong interest, have practice in organizing, networking organizationally and living in cooperative ICs for over 20 years. We cannot just "buy" our way to a more sustainable and meaningful lifestyle with green products, we have to learn how to live more closely, collectively, respectfully, with willingness to share ideas and resources. Radical solutions and deep infrastructural changes are needed to get along without undue suffering. In the past, I've been more focused on decent and affordable housing, worked on a land trust board and served on other nonprofit boards. Now I lean toward urban gardening, bridging gaps between urban and rural thinking, remaining flexible, taking care of self and supporting others in reflection, renewal, and reviewing strategy.
