Balidangri Child Development Organisation was established by a group of energetic people for the purpose of welfare of poor villagers and several development activities. It is a non profit making voluntary non Governmental organization. Duly registered under societies Registration Act, Govt of West Bengal and also have F.C.R.A.

It has an executive committee of 7 and general committee of 42 members. It holds Annual General meeting according to the norms prescribed in their constitution.

We have a term of dedicated grassroots, volunteers, experienced and qualified educational counselors, skilled and qualified Doctors as on our panel thus enabling us to implement our programs effectively with result orientation. BCDO operated in Purba and Paschim Medinipur District of West Bengal and promote holistic development on the under privileged & oppressed in the area.

General Back Ground & Present situation: 6 Block of Medinipur lays in the east part of the District which is situated in costal area, cluster area covering the district in west Bengal state. This Block is predominantly populous by scheduled cast people. The percentage of population tribal and scheduled cast is 64309 Government has declared the entire Block as under developed and backward block. The total population of the block is 256652 covering an area of 25070 hector the total number of revenue villages is 2275 which is consisting in 14 gram panchayet. Geographically it is the villages are in the mildest of dense flood. Comparing to other Block very few village level voluntary organizations are working in this area covering 25 villages.
