About
I divide my time between Cambridge, MA and mid-coast Maine. I have been active in community planning and land trusts. I am shifting my focus to what some call 'inner-work' and developing a community where I can nurture a deeper connection to the environment. A lot of attention is being given to what actions we need to take - individually, locally and nationally - in response to climate change. I want to develop an ethic that makes those changes and actions durable. I also suspect that a shift in how we relate to the environment will open other ways of living that will reduce our impact on the planet. I am also interested in art as a way to tap into that connection we all feel for the environment, but has gotten buried for many.
