I am concerned, our county board is contemplating letting the local landfill to take on toxic wastes. The landfill set right above the Mahomet Aquifer. I haven't been searching for items till now. For some of the board and local people are thinking it will be safe for the water table below! I on the other hand believe it is something I am not willing to risk. I suffer with health problems and need to not worry about what else will effect our water supply for me or future generations. They put a question on the ballot and it was told voters didn't want landfill to take on the chemical wastes. So I am hoping some where you can help me send information to the board and others to help them have a no position too!
This is in Clinton, Illinois, DeWitt County.
Any help appreciated.
