- Focused on sustainability at the community/local level.
- Active as a part of the Valley Future Network in the Mad River Valley, Vermont, USA
- Helped to build Carbonrally, a web service providing a positive, fun and social way for people to reduce energy costs and CO2 emissions.
- Interested in the Transition movement. Helped get a Transition Initiative started in Hamilton and Wenham, Massachusetts, USA. Completed "Training for Transition" 2-day course in Cambridge, MA, USA on November 22-23, 2008
