About

I have been studying permaculture and ecology for the past 7 years. In 2006, I got my Permaculture Design Certificate from the Earth Activist Training Permaculture Design Course. I went to work for one of my teacher's design businesses, Permaculture Earth Artisans in the Sebastopol, CA area. I was also an organic farm intern at Ocean Song in Occidental, CA at the time. Prior to that I completed the Radical Urban Sustianability Training at the Rhizome Collective in Austin, TX.

One of my main passions is revolutionary/radical politics, and integrating that with permaculture and grassroots sustainability as a way to become more liberated from capitalist economics (and heal the planet and yourself at the same time). I really want permaculture to be more accessible to people without lotsa privilege.

I am currently working with Ozarks Permaculture Guild to set up a permaculture demonstration site and housing cooperative in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
