About
I have been a therapist for over 20 years. I developed a technique of working with people that is not disease or dysfunctional based. It is developmentally and growth based. About 25 years ago people realized you could not really seperate individual consciousness from the families, communities, and cultures in which they are embedded. My interest is now in how individual consciousness and community interact. From this I started working in community development and helped found Joyful Being community. This organization is building community around helping individuals feel alive and connected and increasing the love, joy, peace, wisdom, compassion, tolerance, health, beauty, and humor in the world. Our main areas of focus are open spirituality, nature and earth harmony, social justice and community, and the personal journey. We are very similar to wiserearth in intention and the way we work but our focus is building local community with all the elements found on wiserearthintegrated into actual communities. Please, help me spread this message! “SOS! Rescue Georgia! In August 7, 2008 Russia attacked Sovereign Caucasus State-Georgia. Georgia is 250 times smaller than Russia. Russia conducted airstrikes on Georgian targets on Friday evening. The air raid from Russia bombs all territory of Georgia, from East to West. Russia had started to bomb civil and economic infrastructure. Russian aircraft raided Tbilisi (bombardment). Several Russian aircrafts were stroked down. Thousands of people perished. Perished civilians, children and women. Towns and settlements are ravaged. Population lost homes, lost properties. For now more than 3,000 people are dead as a result of aggression! The escalation risked igniting a renewed and sustained conflict in the Caucasus region, an important conduit for the flow of oil from the Caspian Sea to world markets and an area where conflict has flared for years along Russia’s borders, most recently in Chechnya. This is the Russian full-scale direct aggression! Population is homeless, they have no simple belongings, food. The humanitarian and ecological catastrophe is imminent! Should one small nation be destroyed only because it is small?! Help us! We need humanitarian aid. We accept any support and aid: from any financial, to any material. Thank you. Thanks for inviting me to your network, I love the work you are doing at joyfulbeing. Just to clarify, the Course in Consciousness is not my creation, but a profoundly useful tool that I think we could all benefit from which is why I share it here.
