My name is Steve Snyder.  I am 52 years old.  I have 3 daughters in their late teens and early 20's and 2 stepsons one in his late eeens and the other in his early 20's.  My wife , Anita and I have been married for almost 9 years.  We live in the desert in Mesa, Arizona.  I design and build swimming pools and have a small handyman business. 

Now that our children are almost grown i am looking to actively become more involven in the world around us.  I want to lend my skills and talents to contribute to making the world a more peaceful place and to help create sustainible sources for mankinds basic needs of food, water and shelter.  My immediate goal is to become more involved in my community.

I have been building home related projects for almost 30 years and spend most of my free time gardening.  I would like to expand these activities into something I could share with others and learn more myself along the way.
