About

I am originally from Denver, Colorado, but have been an Oregonian for the past five years. I recently graduated with a BA in International Affairs and French from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR. I have travelled extensively in Europe, and lived and studied in both Strasbourg, France and Dakar, Senegal. Currently I am interning at Aprovecho, a permaculture research center and community in Cottage Grove, OR. We are participating in a 100-mile diet and sourcing all of our foods locally for the duration of the program. I hope to pursue various careers/life-paths on the west coast (Portland, Seattle or SF) in the areas of human rights and social justice advocacy, grassroots media, sustainable technologies, organic farming and health education. I will hopefully be volunteering in a "third-world" francophone country as soon as possible-- either in sub-Saharan Africa or Haiti with regards to sanitation/health and water extention programs.
