About

I love.

______

”..he had given love away

as if it were the cheapest and most abundant thing on earth

that it was like rain..”

______

My day job, and work in general, involves being the Director of Gaia Community. For the rest of my bio, read on...

I trust uncertainty, don't care for irony, and believe that paradox is a necessary ingredient of truth.

I'm obsessed with systems thinking, the ongoing process of community, open space technology, and the terrifying beauty of individual subjectivities. I want to know what is alive in you, and I believe life is an infinite game.

My background is in the creation of communties of practice, capacity building, and facilitation, but these days I tend to spend my free time writing, wandering, reading, and (best of all) wrapped in rapt conversation with new friends or old strangers.

What else? I can't say much more without coming across as a paragon of contradiction: I'm a mystic who relishes the body, and an existentialist who lives and breathes God; an incorrigible intellectual who shies from systemization, and a radical ecologist who thrives online; a hopeless academic who values compassion over intellect, and a critical thinker who believes love is the ultimate criterion of truth.

And I believe that all of this could very well be wrong.

I live (obviously!) for good conversation, so if you'd like to connect, don't hesitate to drop me a line. Tell me about yourself. Let's find out together what we might learn.

And after that final no there comes a yes

And on that yes the future world depends.

    – Wallace Stevens.
