About
I have been studying and applying Permaculture since 1996.
In January 2008 I established Sierra Permaculture Design, through which I provide Permaculture Design and Consulting services ( sierrapermaculture.com ) to individuals and organizations.
I founded the Sierra Permaculture Guild ( sierrapermaculture.org ) in the autumn of 2007 to encourage Permaculture info-sharing, education & networking in the Sierra Nevada bioregion. Permaculture groups and guilds from throughout the Sierra are encouraged to contact us and get involved.
In June of '07, I obtained my Permaculture Design Certificate under the guidance of Penny Livingston-Stark, James Stark, Brock Dolman, Geoff Lawton, and Starhawk at the Regenerative Design Institute/Commonweal Garden in Bolinas, CA.
From 1998 to 2000, I was the Executive Director of Long Beach Organic.
Prior to this time, I worked in Los Angeles in the film and television industry. I have a degree in Film & Video/Theater Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
I enjoy foreign and domestic travel, reading, camping, creating magick and ritual, paganism and metaphysical studies, mythology, downhill skiing, photography, drumming, and sustainably managing my 13-acre family homestead within the Yuba watershed.
