About
A (lapsed) CA extension Master Gardener advisor, for the time being an apartment manager and caretaker in Northern CA. Small time newsletter editor, and historical fiction writer. For fun, I stargaze, play Irish dance tunes on the recorder and try to read through an ever-increasing book collection.
My husband and I have property in southern MO near Dora, where we plan to retire in a few years. We wish to use the permaculture models for water management, food forest, gardens, domestic buildings and community. Not involved in any organizations currently, and seeking info more related to Ozark soils, climate, and topography, as is is far different than California (and far more to our liking!) We are simple, literate, quiet people and seek to leave a light footprint on the land.
