For about six years, I worked in the computer-graphics film industry improving
workflow efficiencies for ramping-up companies planning large-scale,
cutting-edge films. After writing 100,000+ lines of code and creating hundreds
of software tools and systems, I completed this work as pipeline engineering
supervisor on The Lord of the Rings films, which won three Academy
Awards for visual effects. I then changed my focus to philosophy, government, and politics. This quickly
landed me on a path towards activism—to seek social and political
justice for those without.

UCSB SAW (Students Against War) is awesome! I still can't believe they ran CIA recruiters off their campus, literally. I've been to one of SAWs meetings before, I remember talking with Darwin, you might know him.

I see you're part of the Santa Barbara People`s Coalition, good stuff! When I was studying at Santa Cruz I was an organizer with Students Against War. You might know someone I know... |

Hi Bret,
Very excited to see you so active in improving WiserEarth on your first week here. Looking forward to to see more of you around and to work together toward that end.
Btw, that book of yours looks like a good read. Is it readable in it's entirety via the Google Books interface? If so, how wise of you!
Cheers, Bowo |
