About

I am a leukemia survivor with a passion for making what difference I can in the world. I work as a Researcher for the Manitoba Nurses' Union and I deal with a variety of issues related to Health Human Resources and Workplace Health and Safety.

I have a Masters Degree in Public Administration, and when I'm not fussing about health care, I am also very interested in Green Building and Urban Planning, as it relates to the future of sustainable cities. In addition I am mildly obsessed with the disfunction of Canadian government, and issues of leadership, accountability and access to information related to this disfunction.

When I am not fussing about either of those I garden, as organically as possible, or I dream of organic farming.

And when none of those are fussing me, I dream of a day when our economies are primarily locally based, cooperatively owned and focused on the welfare of all rather than the priveledged few.

Sound good? I think so.
