About
I am a Biomedical Scientist involved in challenges linked to the diagnosis and management of people living with HIV/AIDS across the country. HIV/AIDS and Tubeculosis have combined as a co-pandemic with the potential to cause death in the affected people.

While I'd like to help, Shingai, I am a 72-year-old physicist in New Zealand and it's not obvious what that help might be.
My wife and I did live in West Africa for three years (first: '68-70 in Ghana with CUSO, second: 1979 in Nigeria with our 3 children), so we have a love for your continent. Feel free to ask questions, or even just write, thinking of me as a sympathetic ear. David. |

Hello Shingai,
How lovely to hear from you. It has been many years since I was in Africa. At that time I visited only Kenya and AIDS had not yet had a notable impact. How different things are now; how wonderful that you are working to stem the plague! Several people in my former Department at the University of Washington are working on AIDS in Africa -- mostly West Africa, I believe.
How are things in your area now?
I see that you are on the border with South Africa and have heard something of the AIDS situation there from docs in Capetown...is it the same in your city as in the major cities in S.A.?
Kind Regards, Beth |

Thank you for your invitation. I hope that our connection in this network community will be productive both ways.

Dear Shingai Chikutye,
I am a retired environmental epidemiologist, and I have been working on a new understanding of AIDS, which would include the suscepibility to TB and other infectious opportunistic diseases. My email address is: rosaliebertell@greynun.org">rosaliebertell@greynun.org
This new theory is that the atoms are composed of tiny gravity photons, which form the quarks and quarkels making up the protons, neutrons and electrons, of the atoms. This is now well documented but its applications to medical research have not yet been fully explored and made known. Given this understanding, it has been documented that in AIDS, the human immune system (in its atomic structure) contains gravity photons moving more slowly than the speed of light (c) which is the normal speed of gravity photons in healhy tissue. A restored-to-health immune system is able to destroy invading viruses, mico bacteria, bacteria and tumours.
By exposing the HIV positive patient to light therapy or low intensity microwave therapy, there will be a restoration of energy to the photon particles of the immune system, and the patients will not develop AIDS. This therapy does not destroy the normal tissue which is already operating at the speed of light. When the energy of the photons is below the speed of light (they are in constant motion, like a standing wave) they cannot communicate with viruses or micobacteria which have normal energy, just as a phonograph record when played at too slow a speed losses its ability to communicate its original message or carry on its original tasks.
The medical need is to restor the energy to the immune system.
If you are interested in this approach, I can put you in touch with a person in the UK who has done this experimentally and he could give you more specific instructions.
