About
I am an Environmental Science student in Austin, TX where I hope to earn a bachelors, masters, and hopefully go on to my doctorate. I would like to do plant and animal research and at some point narrow my research to just amphibians (mainly frogs) as there is not much known about these creatures. I have 3 frogs at the moment, 2 White's tree frogs (Maeby and Tobias) , and 1 White Lipped tree frog (Buster). I have a dog, Charlie, and I love them all! What got me interested in frog research is a frog I used to have, a White's named George-Michael, and he became really sick with some sort fungal infection and it was a guessing game on how to treat him. Needless to say he eventually passed away but after many attempts to treat him by a really good vet in our area. That sparked an interest and it just so happens that I am going to school for environmental science anyway... I am into sustainable living and am an advocate. I volunteer in the city of Austin in ecological restoration, cleaning up, and planting in local parks. I hope to see in the future more sustainable living not just for ecological value, but an aesthetic one as well.
