About

My roots are in the surrounding of Berlin. Currently I am studying in Berlin, looking forward to go to New Zealand in 2011 for working on organic farms, living in communities and so on. I would like to find a place where I can live my sustainable zero-carbon community based ideas - maybe in a Transition Town or a likely independent subsistential group. I could even found one by myself. But those things I don't know at the moment - I just know I want to finish my studies and go to New Zealand for a sustainable independent life afterwards.

My current areas of focus are especially environmental education, networking in between different international NGOs,  the topic biodiversity and a bit ecotoxicology.

My life is about avoiding any exploitation. I decided to become a vegan a while ago, because of ecological and ethical reasons. I think of myself as an eco-feminist. My todays home is kind of a break-down-comfort: A shared accommodation with oven-heating, shower with hot water about 5 minutes in the kitchen :) no fridge, less light, no TV and so on - I don't even have a cell-phone anymore (yeah try it!!!)

And I don't cook - I am a 90% raw-vegan (10% are while eating out, having no trust in peoples knowing about rawfood etc.)

I just started a new blog project to share great ressources on sustainability. It's written in German. Another project is about environmental education at German schools. Ressources we work out are going to be published for free on the internet.
