I care and want to help shift thinking and systems towards a more sustainable way of life.
I realize the delicate nature of the world we live in -I have hope for where society can morph to if we all get working on the same page - co-existence in a more sustainable way of life.
I have both an understanding of the traditional notions associated with business, philantrophy and consumer consumption and I also am helping to define newer ways of thinking and operating so we shift from causing overwhelming despair and destruction to a more productive, solution-oriented world.
I am a realistic and a dreamer - I have both my feet on the ground and my soul is connected with others striving to create a safer, more enlighted world.
I have worked with Grass Commons, Alonovo, CSRwire, StartingBloc, Net Impact and other like-minded organizations working to define new systems, new measures, shared definitions - and to wake up those asleep behind the wheel. I have conducted research and helped to define the Conscious Consumer - of which we need to wake up many more.
I have also had a successful career as a strategic branding, market research and marketing professional. I have been a Partner at Yankelovich, Strategic Planner at Ogilvy & Mather and have steered my own firm, Fresh Marketing. I have worked with many in the non-profit and education sector to strengthen the brand image, communications and development/funding models.
My latest work includes creation of a new collaboration framework to help business work more collaborately with NGO's, non-profits and social enterprises - www.strategicresources.com.
My goal is to foster new relationships to help business green their supply chains and utilize the enormous resources that lives in the millions of passionate social organizations that are spearheading real change.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I hereby introduce to you“Advocacy Through Filming and Screening Uganda” (AFSU) a Non-profit making, Non-partisan and interdenominational Charity Organization.
This organization is duly registered with the Non- Governmental Organization Board of Uganda by ministry of internal affairs. The organization has its Headquarters in Uganda and its registered office is on plot. 602 along Rubaga Road Kampala.
The inception of AFSU is to conduct and carryout activities that address needs for Children, Women, and Youth. This is done with focus on broad thematic areas of Health, HIV/AIDS, water and sanitation, Education, Environment protection, Climate Change, agriculture through use of Educative short films, Workshops, Consultancies, Participatory research, Trainings, Development of training materials and tools, sensitizing communities and Music, Dance and Drama. Special attention is to raise voices of the marginalized communities through advocacy activities.
The main purpose of this communication is to extend our invitation to your organization members and staff to pay a visit to our office and community projects, to enable us share knowledge, experiences and learn more from each other.
