About

I am interested in people, organizations and activities

    - which work for the diverse multicultural society in the Transylvania (Erdély, Ardeal, Siebenbürgen) area of Romania and

    - which respect and nurture

          - the traditional practices of all the Transylvanian cultures as well as

          - new sustainable practices appropriate for the cultures and environments there.

I am particularly concerned with finding ways of facilitating the successful migration into the European Union while respecting and preserving traditional practices and values.

I am interested in discovering ways in which we can create a non-commercial (i.e. not-for-profit) network of web-based resources which promote Transylvanian initiatives and opportunities, for people in the region, those doing business in the region, and those who visit it.  Any help or links that you can provide will be much appreciated!!

As a Unitarian Universalist (a "UU), I promote and support all people and organizations working towards a sustainable multicutural world.  As one of many networkers facilitating partnerships among UU churches in the USA and their Unitarian partner churches and communities in Transylvania, I appreciate the interdependence of all the organizations and people in the region.
