About

I am interested in people, organizations and activities

    - which work for the diverse multicultural society in the

Transylvania (Erdély, Ardeal, Siebenbürgen) area of Romania and

    - which respect and nurture

          - the traditional practices of all the Transylvanian cultures as well as

          - new sustainable practices appropriate for the cultures and environments there.

I am particularly concerned with finding ways of facilitating the successful migration into the European Union while respecting and preserving traditional practices and values.

I am interested in discovering ways in which we can create a non-commercial (i.e. not-for-profit) network of web-based resources which promote Transylvanian initiatives and opportunities, for people in the region, for those doing business in the region, and for those who visit it.  Any help or links that you can provide will be much appreciated!!

As a Unitarian Universalist ("UU"), I am willing to promote and support people and organizations working towards a sustainable multi-cultural world.  As one of many networkers facilitating partnerships among UU churches in North America and their Unitarian partner churches and communities in Transylvania, I appreciate the interdependence of all the organizations and people in that region.
