About
Love is my religion, and all that I do is with the intention of reminding humanity - myself included - that Love is who we are. I believe the most loving thing we can do for each other is to see the perfection in one another, to see that we lack nothing in Spirit. My biggest passion is EXPRESSION...moving what's inside, out...whether through dance, written correspondence, open communication, transparent, courageous leadership or unabashed affection for my fellow human beings.
I live and work both in Chico and Marin County (both in Northern CA, USA). Professionally I am a green wedding planner focused on helping couples create an authentic celebratory foundation for the life they lead together. My business is Love Events (www.loveevents.com).
I am deeply in Love with Chico, the mellow and bubbling community where I primarily reside. My BA is from CSU Chico in Social Ecology and Personal Ethics. I completed two Rockwood Leadership Program trainings (1999 and 2000) and the Co-Active Leadership Program (2007), and have high regard for both programs. I also completed the Co-Active Coaching Program (2004) and currently coach business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs in the area of leadership.
Mentors include Jesus, my closest girlfriends, mom Carmen and dad Joseph, Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., Mark Dubois, Bob Marley, Jim Henson, food goddess Marianne Brenner, creative beam Marcia Briggs, Mother Theresa, Paul Hawken, bluegrass gospel queen Alison Krauss, my coach Charles Zook and a handful of professors at CSU Chico primarily in Religious Studies.
Some of my favorite things in the world are canyons, hands and feet, Brazilian music, cold dark chocolate, rivers and creeks, rainbows, Sesame Street, and the scent of tuberoses.

If love is your religion then I bow at the altar of spirit and humanity in respect . The light that flows through you is inspiring and uplifting. Your garment of self expression awakens inner peace and illuminates the world. Thank you for your beautiful words and for sharing your unique essence with the world. I wish you a nurturing path of diversity and divinity where peace and freedom nourish your soul and embrace your spirit.
