Hello Rehan,
Your team member role reads "Lead Developer" and the title on your profile page says "Editor/Administrator". Can you please clarify.
I'm searching for the WE team member(s) who is/are responsible for platform architecture, design and coding. Can you please put me in touch. |

Dear Rehan; so pleased to see your site at WE, maybe you could add your gems of inspiration to http://www.loverevolution2.ning.com where many have come to share. Best to you and your noble and most worthy endeavor, William Leland Luster.

Hi,
I saw you're the WiserEarth Lead Developper. I wish to suggest you an idea to spread WiserEarth somewhere! What about creating a Joomla component/module? Joomla actually is the most used CMS freesoftware in the world, used by lots of individuals and nonprofits. A component like the one I imagine could have features like:
1. an open authentication mode (i.e. open-id), so to easily connect to WE with an unique registration.
2. a form from which add the organization, using the WE data format, to the Catalog
3. a form from which add events, using the WE data format, and/or a way to share events using events' sharing formats (i.e.RSS, Atom, iCal)
4. a tool to import contents from Joomla to WE
The module could be a sort of "WiserEarth monitor" from which to access to the Catalog, to share the events, and soon.
After the Joomla component, could be useful also to develop modules for Wordpress, Drupal, Lifetype and soon.
