  So far, at twenty-one, my aspirations outweigh my accomplishments.  Hence the inescapable gnawing feeling in my gut.  I dread the thought of dying a frail, whimsical idealist who never had the courage to write the things he hoped would change the way people see themselves in the world.

  It's that gnawing that drives me to learn what needs to be done.  It lends me the fortitude to go out and do it.
