We created this group to communicate and collaborate with people interested in design and marketing with a green twist...using recycled materials for print, energy efficiency (solar powered Web hosting), energy offsetting, and other solutions we're hoping to learn and spread the word about.

Over the past few years, Doug has co-organized Peak Oil presentations including Parbon Carbon Institute "Senior Fellow" Richard Heinberg's soldout++ 2006 Eugene Hilton presentation; screening primer End of Suburbia to neighborhood groups and city councilors, and he helped create the first Lane County Relocalization Conference 4/07 in Eugene. In 2006 he co-lead the final presentation in Thomas Golya's University of Oregon Summer Term class, "Peak Oil and the Politics of the 21st Century". He's a grassroots organizer with Post Carbon Eugene, with background in anti-nuclear power/pro-energy efficiency canvass directing(New England Clamshell Alliance, 1989-1992), canvass directing also in environmental restoration(2002-current day), as well as multiple environmental and pro-consumer rights campaigns. In 1992 he created a statewide coalition of groups calling on the NH Governor to implement sustainable, Demand-Side Managed(DSM) public power planning from the state's utilities. He's a former state steering committee member for the "Yes On Question 4" 1988 Massachusetts ballot referendum calling for sustainable, demand-side-managed energy closing MA.'s 2 nuclear power stations.
