Hi Peggy!
This is Daniel from Spain.
I have just had a funny realization that I wanted to share with you. Did you know that IBM's strategy for the following years is to build what has been coined "a smarter planet".
It is funny to see how you conceived the same thing just from another perspective: "A wisher earth" Ne doutez jamais qu'un petit groupe d'individus conscients et engages puisse changer le monde.
If everything goes as planned, I will have the opportunity to go to San Francisco and stay more time than the last time. I hope that this time we will have the occasion to meet.
All the best Daniel

To Wiserearth, Looking at Wiserearth I can see how it has grown a great deal over the last couple of years. The tenants of Wiserearth like the many people and organizations on it are all looking at somewhat of the same issue and that’s how do we become more unified in action across the globe. Which, the Wiserearth website now plays a role in. Over the last month or so I have been proposing out on The Zeitgeist Movement the creation of a World or Planetary Council that would have a unifying effect if applied on our world this is where all the known human disciplines could be arrayed into a non-hierarchical structure. Where as seen within the below link the arrows indicate the flow of information and the categories are in effect the human discipline structures arrayed across the council.
Do you think the World or Planetary Council idea as I have proposed out on Zeitgeist as seen in the below link is something that Wiserearth would be willing to support.

I would be interested in your insight on this issue.
Respectfully,

Hi Peggy -- I am a filmmaker with a short (humorous) environmental film (about excessive real estate development in the Rocky Mountains) that has made the film festival rounds, and I'm now looking for ways to share it free of charge with interested folks. Is it okay to use WiserEarth to send it to groups that seem like they might enjoy it? Here's a link to the page:
Check out "The Lost People of Mountain Village" on Wiser Earth:

Dear Peggy, I have just finished writing a book and will be looking for a publisher. I am involved with a campaign named 'Cap and Share' - an international scheme for reducing carbon emmissions and compensating individual families for the resulting rising cost of living. At an international level the schme would involve distributing equal value emissions coupons to all adults in the world who would then exchange them for cash at a cash distribution point like a bank or post office. The producers of fossil fuels (i.e. the upstream end) would have to purchase these permits from the banks before they could put their products on the market. The international control body would reduce the number of coupons distributed each year in accordance with internationally agreed targets for emissions. www.capandshare.org
I have been very impressed by the hard work of Polly Higgins at DESERTEC who are promoting the use of concentrated solar power as the means to provide most of the world's electricity requirements. CSP could also be used in conjunction with desalination plants to provide clean water in desert regions.
I would also recommend a look at the web site of FEASTA (Foundation for the Economics of Sustainability).
I am proposing the establishment of a new science which I am calling 'philonomics' www.philonomics.org.uk I have posted my initial thoughts about this on the web site and would welcome contributions to the debate.
I belong to the lifestyle movement 'Future in Our Hands'. www.fiohnetwork.org

Hi Peggy
Have you imagined your members giving birth to ideas – ideas that would grow into reality through their own programmed volition. I explored this concept while working for a Dutch firm and thought you might like to see the video clip.
