About
I am the Executive Director of Prison Dharma Network. I am also a certified meditation instructor and have trained extensively in
Nonviolent Communication (NVC). I engage in ongoing community organizing and social networking on various platforms. My
educational background includes a degree in Criminal Justice. I am
also a graduate of Naropa University's Authentic Leadership program, certified Level Two in Spiral Dyamics Integral and a graduate of
Matrixworks Leadership Training. I teach meditation, peacemaker
skills, council practice, and nonviolent communication in Colorado
prisons and jails. I am the publisher/editor of "Sitting Inside:
Buddhist Practice in America's Prisons" and "Dharma in Hell: Prison
Writings of Fleet Maull." I am the author of "Path to Freedom" a
workbook based on the Integral Peacemaker training geared for prisoners
and youth at risk.

A mother teaches her child with love and patience until the child learns. Be a mother and teach your mind to have positive thoughts and to let go of worries. Then when your mind needs peace, it will obey you.
