About
Kia ora,
I am passionate about life. I love Aotearoa (NZ) and it is where I am firmly rooted.
I am part way through my Masters of Environmental Studies, for my thesis I am looking at Indicators of well-being, Genuine Progress Indicators etc and the potential they have for a better understanding and valuing of the environment, culture and spirituality.
I have been involved with the establishment and governance of Evolve, Wellington's youth led, youth owned service that provides holistic health services for young people. I am now on the governing trust, Te Whanganui-a-Tara youth Development Trust.
I have been involved with the environmental group at Victoria University, Gecko. From there I have been involved with the Environment and Conservation Organisations, which has led me to many different experiences, including working with the government on climate change policy and organising the ECO annual conference.
Recently I have been involved with an amazing bunch of young people from around New Zealand, many of us went to the Digital Earth Symposium in San Francisco which was an amazing experience.
I'm keen to connect with other people around Earth and to co-create the future we want. I also recognise that we have got to take everyone with us on this journey...that is the challenge but that is also the fun of it!

Hi Aaron,
I have been wanting to connect with someone who was involved in the Digital Earth event, as I heard only good things about the student involvement in it. I may not respond well to messages posted within this site, as I have too many other places to be involvd on the web, and I need to be in face to face communication more than bits and bytes communication. However, if you are ever in Auckland or on Waiheke, or if I am in Wellington, I would enjoy connecting with you and friends to see what everyone is up to.
