About
I'm a freelance researcher, writer and facilitator. I collaborate on
many kinds of projects, but my heart is in social innovation (creating
and spreading solutions that transform systems for the better).
I'm also actively involved in Intersect - a network for young professionals committed to sustainability.
I have previously worked for Landcare Research, NZ's Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment, Melbourne's Environment Commissioner and at RMIT University. My major contributions have focused on education for sustainability and smarter energy systems. A thread that runs through my work is my concern for positive personal and social change. I'm curious about how people, connecting together, can instigate change and let change emerge through us. I wonder at how people resist change and learn to open up. I ponder on the pace of change and how established patterns shift.
