About
I was born in Wales, raised in Vancouver and LA, then back in theĀ UK where I live today, near Bath. For much of my life I've been an (environmental) documentary film-maker (see Greenbucks and Prophets and Loss, both available from The Video Project in San Francisco.
Today, I'm director of a UK based NGO, Be The Change, which began life in 2004 with a conference in London. The most recent one was Nov, 2007 - see website for details. The conference is dedicated to exploring and encouraging evolutionary change - environmental, educational, social and spiritual. Also, in Feb. 2008, we presented two talks by Muhammad Yunus, founder of the Grameen Bank. Today (2009) we're hard at work on our next big event, focussing on solutions.
In 2006, we began a wonderful partnership with The Pachamama Alliance, within which we now present - in Britain and gradually elsewhere in Europe - their wonderful symposium, which we call Be The Change.
