Marianne Balfe's advanced business degree is combined with fourteen years of "ecommitment" as a leader in sustainability. Prior to founding Ecommitment, she worked in the green building and solar industries for 5-1/2 years.
Her experience has spanned many sectors, including consumer goods, renewable energy, government, construction, and environmental services. She has worked in project management, public relations, accounting, operations, facilitation, marketing, and business development capacities.
Marianne helps senior leadership and employees create innovative strategies toward corporate sustainability with a cross-disciplinary approach. She is passionate about harnessing and driving market forces toward a green economy through supply chain, operations, and eco-marketing and branding.
She holds a MBA from Sonoma State University, where she completed special coursework in Social and Environmental Entrepreneurship, and a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Prescott College.
