About

Hi, I am 46 years old and love natural and simple.  I have had wonderful experience living among an intentional community; discovering who I am.  From working in a garden, with animals, cooking for a crowd, or even doing a friend’s laundry; I love the rich life that a true community provides.  My favorite place to contribute is in the kitchen; yes, even scrubbing the pots :)  In addition, I have administrative and hospitality giftings and would also like to develop my artistic abilities. I love to bead, sew, tie dye and other fabric art.

experiencing awakenings, and although there have been “consequences” of my heart's desire I am still thrilled !!
have been very spongeee soaking up a lot
lots of synchronicity going on
discovering indigo, Outsider, Observer concept really brought it home for me
still very much a novice and continue looking for things to absorb

2012, global awakening, astrology, tarot, Outsiders & Observers, meta-human, indigo, DaVinci, and  Edison types, micro-enterprise, cooking, baking, sewing, crafting, learning from ancient ways, druids, druidism, Lemuria, Atlantis,

being the change I want to see in the world

Greetings,

I have imagined a place to do your laundry, or meet with friends that has a welcoming kind of back porch feel.

I would also like a freshly made snack or drink while I was there.

The cozy place I have imagined is:  The Gathering Place Laundry and Treats

We also have drop off laundry services for locals and travelers.

Won’t you join me for a drink or snack?  My menu treats are wholesome creations and feature independently produced and fair traded ingredients.

I would love to cater your event; your place or mine.

Please let me know if you are a traveler or trucker; I have discounts for you !!

Locals, I have punch cards for you.  Bring in a new friend and get double punches.

Internet access available indoors and on the patio.  Headphones are available to check out.

Like the artwork or a crafted item?  Just ask, they are for sale.  Or I can provide you with information about the artist.

Like the music?  I will be happy to share the details with you.

Thank you for sharing your day with me; hope to see you again soon.

Currently seeking initial start up funding / investors for my gathering place. Very interested in a microloan for this microenterprise.

My current intended location is downtown Prescott, AZ

I will also be joining the Coin Laundry Association.  Seeking donations or sponsorship for initial membership.

Thank you very much for your consideration,

Melinda Harris

Out In The Fields With God

The little cares that fretted me,
I lost them yesterday,
Among the fields above the sea,
Among the winds at play,
Among the lowing of the herds,
The rustling of the trees,
Among the singing of the birds,
The humming of the bees.

The foolish fears of what might pass,
Among the clover-scented grass,
Among the new-mown hay,
Among the hushing of the corn
Where drowsy poppies nod,
Where ill thoughts die and good are born -
Out in the fields with God.
