About
currently writing; Reclaiming Earth, Body, Love
working with deepdemocracy, intersectionality/horizontal analysis in sustainability work, systemic approach, embodied writing and visualisation, creative arts.
at the European Social Forum september 2008 in the south of Sweden we launched a global ecofeminist network with the seminar An Ecofeminist Gathering for All Our Relations; the wisdom of decisionmaking for Seven Generations.
Our Ecofeminist vision is to actively work for the birth of a new partnership era with balanced relations between humans, nature and all life forms.
An Ecofeminist definition in progress;
To be an Ecofeminist is to
- expose and challenge the workings of dominance and control within all sorts of polarizing, asymmetric power relations that permeates human civilisations and most relations today.
- act from a new (and ancient) systemic view of partnership with All Our Relations as equal partners.
- reclaim our roots in the dynamic, diverse system of interaction and mutual dependencies that is the living world.
- encompass the needs of future generations and through our creative imaginations make them equal partners in building a sustainable future.

whatever affects part of the whole positively or negatively affects the whole and as such every little effort should be made to conserve or protect every iota off the whole(UNIVERSE)

"However fragmented the world, however intense the national rivalries, it is an inexorable fact that we become more interdependent every day. I believe that national sovereignties will shrink in the face of universal interdependence. The sea, the great unifier, is man's only hope. Now, as never before, the old phrase has a literal meaning: We are all in the same boat." — Jacques Cousteau, quoted in "National Geographic" [1981] |
