About
I have been actively involved in human rights and environmental campaigning and lifestyle issues for about 25 years. I am currently acting as the coordinator of a small international network for the Future In Our Hands movement which was founded by Erik Dammann in 1974.
I am also the chairman of two UK registered charities the Future in Our Hands Education and Development Fund and Plant a Tree in Africa, both of which were established with the main aim of reducing extreme poverty and supporting long-term sustainable development.
As a participant in FIOH I promote its philosophy to encourage the values of cooperation, sharing, fellowship, honesty and compassion and the move by the affluent towards a simple way of life.
I would be interested to hear from anyone who would like to establish an FIOH branch or group anywhere in the world.
The FIOH Fund is currently supporting projects in Pakistan, the Cameroon, Sierra Leone, Ghana and Kenya through its NGO partners in those countries.

Subject: Poverty – set of connected social realities syndrome
Your Highness,
Peace and Blessings from Pakistan!!!
Poverty is not a bitter actuality but a set of connected social realities syndrome of: Hunger; Malnutrition; Poor health; Social injustice; Poor infrastructure; Drug addiction; Pessimism; Unemployment; Exploitation of women & children
Not only this; the poverty makes the people on an extreme edge of oppression, violence, conflict and social exclusions which further brings a cycle of grievances and pessimism.
So to cage it with change our group seeks your advice, suggestions and support to initiate the activities to alleviate poverty; build peace and social harmony in Pakistan.
While being convinced from your philosophy to encourage the values of cooperation, sharing, fellowship, honesty and compassion and the move by the affluent towards a simple way of life; my group and I want to establish an FIOH branch in Lahore, Pakistan.
In Peace and blessings, I am,
